Gimmee whatchu got, brothas an' sistas.
you think different people have different communicating
styles? Where'd they
all get this from? How do
family members talk to one another versus their coworkers? Do lovers
languages? Of course they
do, and often can't translate their partners' meanings. A lot of us
and women are from
different planets, so it follows that they both communicate in alien
tongues. And how about
body language? How well
does your parent or boss or child communicate with gestures and facial
language? Voice in art or
graffiti? Cultural slang?
I want poems that explore the contrasting realms of communicative expression. Feel free to borrow from the above ideas, and throw in some that I didn't already touch upon here. Someone's talking habits drive you crazy? Someone else's voice inspire you to emulate their writing? You know what to do: send in them poems.
